FIELD: agriculture, insecticides. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of control of harmful insects and device used for method realization that involves evaporation and diffusion of active compound of pesticide preparation in the absence of heating. Material retaining the preparation has at least one pyrethroid compound taken among compound exhibiting poor evaporation at normal temperature and having vapor pressure at 30 C from 1 x 10-7 to 1 x 10-3 mm of mercury column and boiling point 120 C/1 mm of mercury column, not below. Material is applied on carrier with cellular structure, ventilating jalousie-like structure, latticed structure or network structure with permeability to air value 0.1 l/s, not less. Carrier is fitted in one or some positions in the range of ventilating agent with possibility to contact with air flow making at ventilating hole by ventilator fitted in air channel of ventilating agent. Invention ensures to develop more simple and safety method and device for control of harmful insects without any heating by blowing the preparation containing the safety pesticide component by its blowing through with air.
