FIELD: methods of production of homogeneous and combined briquettes in electric-power, metallurgical, agricultural and other industries. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of initial materials, their pressing by continuous cycle with removal of external moisture. Initial materials consist of two components: main squeezed-out and additional grainy materials. Squeezed material is supplied in quantity equal to product of pore volume in grainy material by real density of Squeezed material. Both components are mixed and obtained mixture is compressed up to 1000-2000 kg/sq.cm with linear rate of compression of 0.1-10.0 mm/s. In production of combined briquettes, grainy material is used in the form of mineral materials. Obtained mixture is subjected to pressing. In production of dewatered homogeneous briquettes, grainy material is used as inert materials. After obtaining initial mixture and pressing, briquettes are broken and obtained mixture is sifted to separate dewatered material and to press it for producing homogeneous briquettes, and inert materials are returned to process.
