FIELD: gasoline production. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to lead-free gasoline compositions with octane numbers at least 76, which are used as motor-car and aviation gasolines. Lead-free gasoline composition contains fractions of linear and branched saturated C4-C12-hydrocarbons and/or petroleum-processing gasoline fractions, 1-25% of C6-C12-aromatic hydrocarbons, 1-25% of C4-C12-olefin hydrocarbons, and 1-25% of fraction of ethers obtained (i) in the process of etherification with methanol of C4-C6-hydrocarbon fraction containing piperylene, isoamylenes, and isobutylene or (ii) by mixing methyl tert- butyl ether with fraction of ethers obtained in the process of etherification with methanol of isoamylene-piperylene-containing C5- hydrocarbon fraction.
