FIELD: textile engineering. SUBSTANCE: drive has drive shaft mounted in drive casing and connected through kinematic transmission with main shaft of spinning machine, and planetary starting clutches, with number of clutches corresponding to number of heddle frames. Each planetary starting clutch cooperates with heddle frame through carrier, corona gear and pair of retainers mounted on rotary pins with programmable device and with leverage crank. Rotary pin of each corona gear retainer is fixed through bracket on beam rigidly secured to heddle frame drive casing and rotary pin of each carrier retainer is secured through its bracket on beam mounted for rocking relative to drive shaft pin.
