FIELD: wind-power engineering; units designed for battery charging and power supply. SUBSTANCE: windmill generator has windwheel and magnetoelectric generator whose rotor has permanent magnets and is coupled with windwheel and its stator is built of wound laminated core. Novelty is that generator has two identical stators whose cores are made in the form of flat rings mounting flat windings on their end part which are facing each other and that its rotor is made in the form of nonmagnetic disk with built-in permanent magnets; rotor disk is placed between stator windings. EFFECT: reduced size, weight, and cost of unit, enlarged operating range of wind velocities. 3 cl, 4 dwg
