FIELD: mining industry; mine ventilation plants. SUBSTANCE: vertical axial-flow fan has housing accommodating rotor with impeller, straightening vane assembly and transmission shaft with tooth clutches. According to invention, rotor is installed in housing on radial and radial-thrust bearing supports. Radial-thrust bearing support is made detachable, and thrust bearing in support housing is installed on several Woodruff keys - retainers provided with shoulders with chamfers on inner diameter by means of which keys-retainer are locked in ring slot of support housing by flat distance ring provided with mating round chamfer on outer end face. Fan proper is furnished with brake, collector-fairing and diffuser. EFFECT: reduced cost, increased reliability and economy owing to higher repairability and provision of mechanism for turning impeller blades in operation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
