FIELD: production of display equipment. SUBSTANCE: dismountable carcass-free window has window glass plates loosely mounted in vertical and horizontal planes by corner attachments provided with slots for frictional connection with loosely mounted glass plates. Slit gaps are formed between ends of plates. Window is equipped with device for holding assembled window in compressed state from at least two sides. Holding device may be made in the form of tightening pins with nuts at ends passed through openings in corner attachments from one side of window to the other side, or it may be made in the form of side faceplates of T-section with slot for receiving tightening pin, which may be passed within window through slit gaps. Nuts at ends of tightening pins cooperate with faceplates and side corner attachments, with faceplates tightly adhering to corner attachments. Dismountable window may be equipped with doors for preventing free access from open side of window. Doors are formed as glass plates pivotally attached to vertical immovable glass plates of window and provided with door closing devices. Glass plates thus serve as bearing and guarding members. Dismantled window occupies little place. Window of such construction is sufficiently rigid and strong without usage of carcass even after multiple assemblings and dismantlings.
