FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: sprayer has supporting base, piston pump communicated with liquid reservoir, suction and delivery hoses with valves, lance with stop valve and sprinkler, pump drive pedal-type device made in the form of double-armed lever with pedals pivotally mounted to its ends and with rotating pin mounted in supporting base openings. Double-armed lever is equipped with cantilevered carrier rigidly attached to it above rotating pin. Roller is fixed to one end of carrier, and this end is inserted into piston pump casing window and into piston slot. Piston pump casing is fixed on supporting base through its individual supports. Supporting base is made integral with support formed as spade with handle, or is fixed to cart. Sprayer of such construction may be used for chemical and biological protection of plants from pests or diseases, as well as for painting buildings and other objects.
