FIELD: mining industry, applicable at blasting operations for breaking of rocks, loosening of frozen ground and destruction of oversizes. SUBSTANCE: gaseous explosive is placed in the high-pressure chamber of an impact pipe, and then a blast-hole is let out in the lower-pressure chamber, where self-initiation occurs due to a temperature rise in the shock-wave front. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and safety of operations due to the use of ecologically pure gaseous explosive. 6 cl, 2 dwg
