DROADCAST SOWING SHARE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: share has extirpator-type hoe, hollow tine-seed guide with two channels in upper part for receiving seeds from two flexible seed guides, and seed distributor made in the form of rod mounted in inclined position within tine-seed guide. Rod upper part is made in the form of cylinder truncated at both sides. Cylinder is truncated at rear side (in share advancement direction) for 1/3 of distributor length at an angle of A1, and at front side for the entire length of distributor, at an angle of A2. Rod mid portion made by cylinder truncated at its front side for an angle of A2 is adapted for forming seed flow supplied onto curved generatrix with semi-moon horizontal section. Rod lower part is made as truncated cone bisected in vertical plane in half (semicone), with curved generatrix positioned in seed broadcasting zone. Seed flying distance after jumping back from curved generatrix is regulated by lifting or lowering distributor within the range of 10 mm and by fixing it by means of bolts threaded into rod, with bolt heads being countersunk into longitudinal recesses in wall of hollow tine-seed guide. Share of such construction provides improved uniform seed broadcasting in strip of at least 3/4 of hoe width on even, as well as on sloped field surfaces. Lower part of distributor is protected from impacts occurring at the moment of penetration of hoe into soil by steel plate rigidly fixed to share hoe base lower surface. Rear part of hoe is made in the form of inclined surface protecting seeds from unwanted mixing with soil during sowing. EFFECT: increased efficiency in undercover sowing of seeds, improved sowing uniformity, increased strength, simplified construction, reduced metal usage and decreased draft of share. 4 cl, 4 dwg
