FIELD: fish industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has netted sack with catching part made in the form of hemisphere truncated at an acute angle to axis of symmetry and manufactured from fine-mesh fabric. Cut line of truncated hemisphere is provided with floats and serves upper seine rope. Lower edge of truncated hemisphere defines lower seine rope and is provided with weights. Hydrodynamic members arranged in equally spaced relation along perimeter of front edge of catching part are made in the form of equilateral flat geometrical figures manufactured from flexible material. Bases of geometrical figures are positioned on front edge of truncated hemisphere and their apexes are directed to its center. Accumulating part arranged in center of truncated hemisphere is made in the form of enclosure. Size of meshes of fine-mesh fabric from which catching part is manufactured coincides or is smaller than that of accumulating part. Apparatus of such construction is preferably used for catching fish or invertebrates responsive to electric light, such as thons, sardine, squids etc. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced labor consumption and safety for fishers. 6 cl, 2 dwg
