FIELD: radiolocation, radio engineering navigation of ships. SUBSTANCE: radar incorporating clock pulse generator, exciter, power amplifier, antenna switch, antenna, protection unit, high-frequency amplifier, mixer, intermediate frequency amplifier, amplitude detector, video amplifier, analog-to-digital converter, two forming filters, four commutators, two compression filters, first pulse counter, three on-line storages, first multiplexer, static register, multi-input adder and information display is inserted with video signal on-line storage, coordinate converter, comparator, first unit of gates, unit of mixers, threshold unit, static register, second multiplexer, frequency divider, counting flip-flop, second unit of gates, static flip-flop, second pulse counter, two decoders, four gates, three inverters and seven delay elements with corresponding couplings. EFFECT: expansion of dynamic range between major and side lobes of signals arriving at information display, elimination of false targets and proper increase of probability of detection of small targets against background of large objects. 2 dwg
