FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat-and-sound insulating window used for civil buildings erected in noisy territories in regions with cold climate has window casing with separated window crosses in which windowpanes and casement are fastened, and air change valve made in the form of duct. Duct is vertically mounted along lateral side of window casing and has hole with jalousie and shutter on external side. Shutter is installed inside valve behind jalousie for vertical displacement. Valve is fastened to transom bar of casing on opposite side of casement. Transom bars are provided with holes joining inner space of valve to pane-to-pane space of window casing and casement. EFFECT: reduced heat loss; improved thermal and noise conditions in room. 5 cl, 4 dwg
