FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engine. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine has housing, cylinder block, cylinder head, cylinder with piston, combustion chamber made in cylinder head, intake and exhaust valves installed in cylinder head and accumulating space located in cylinder head and communicating at one side with air pressure source or working mixture source and at other side, with combustion chamber. The latter is made for periodical communication with accumulating space through intake hole, and with cylinder space, through bypass hole. Intake valve is installed in combustion chamber for displacement and periodical overlapping of intake hole and bypass hole. Intake valve has two opposite sealing surfaces engaging with seats in intake and bypass holes. Intake valve is made for isolation of combustion chamber from accumulating space and communication of combustion chamber with cylinder space in process of combustion. Intake valve can displace in combustion chamber towards bottom dead center of piston and overlap bypass holes in combustion chamber in process of exhaust. Intake valve shifts towards top dead center of piston and communicates accumulating space with cylinder space in process of scavenging and filling of combustion chamber and cylinder space. EFFECT: improved efficiency of two-stroke process. 3 cl, 4 dwg
