FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: grain combine has thresher with one or two threshing drums equipped with concaves and beaters, cleaner with grain and head augers, grain elevator with charging device and grain collecting hopper. Returns are repeatedly threshed by means of returns threshing device made in the form of returns elevator joined with its upper part to small returns auger. Other end of small returns auger is connected to upper part of shaft arranged in hopper central part. Lower end of shaft is positioned above first drum of thresher. Grain losses in zone behind cleaning device are reduced due to repeated threshing of returns in zone upstream of first drum. EFFECT: simplified construction and reduced grain losses. 2 cl, 2 dwg
