FIELD: manufacture of complex mineral fertilizers by nitric acid processing of natural phosphates. SUBSTANCE: nitric acid is divided into two 2 streams. From one of streams calcium nitrate is removed by crystallization during cooling operation and by filtration, mother liquor is mixed with second stream of nitric acid extract and processed into fertilizer using ammonation, drying and granulation to prepare fertilizer with reduced amount of water-soluble P2O5 from total amount of P2O5.
