FIELD: turbine manufacture. SUBSTANCE: facility is intended to catch fragments of rotor of turbomachine, predominantly, in turbostarters of stationary gas-turbine installations. Facility includes hollow casing carried in bearings of rotor which has at least one disc with blades. Casing is equipped with circular rim mounted above blades of rotor and is covered by housing. Circular rim is provided with two internal flanges which come as single monolithic part together with rim and is linked to casing along two ring belts. One flange is located in front of inlet to blades of rotor, the other flange is situated downstream of their outlet. Radial thickness of wall of casing does not exceed radial thickness of wall of rim. Radial distance of rim from casing is kept within 1.0- 1.8 of height of blades of rotor. Mass of circular rim with flanges corresponds to value of power action of fragments of rotor M= K Eк, where M is mass of circular rim with flanges; Eк is value of power action, J; K is proportionality factor equal to 30 10-6...50•140-6 kg/J. Thickness of wall of casing above blades of turbomachine corresponds to relation T=, where T is thickness of wall of casing, mm; Eк is value of power action, J; G is strength of material under static bending, MPa; K1 is proportionality factor equal to 0.8-1.3 ( MPa mm)/J; f is calculated safety margin equal to 1.2. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of turbomachine thanks to localization of fragments of rotor destroyed during driving up of turbomachine to speed by predicted destruction of casing in weakest point. 1 dwg
