FIELD: power engineering, applicable in hand and stationary burning devices for lighting-up and maintenance of burning in furnaces of boilers and in gas-turbine plants, as well as for heating, roasting and thermal treatment of parts. SUBSTANCE: the gas burner has a mixing pipe with cylindrical and end walls, tangential air- blast nozzle located on the cylindrical wall, and a gas nozzle. For reduction of the pressure of gas feed to the mixing pipe and expansion of the field of application of the burner the gas nozzle is positioned on the end wall and arranged coaxially with the pipe axis, the tangential air-blast nozzle adjoins the end wall or is apart from it at a distance not exceeding 0.8 of the inside diameter of the mixing pipe. EFFECT: expanded field of application. 3 dwg
