FIELD: paper-and-pulp industry. SUBSTANCE: emulsifying system for colophony sizing agents relates to composition based on dispersed colophony including colophony stabilized by cation-active colloidal coacervate disperser containing anion-active and cation-active components in proportions ensuring zeta potential of sizing composition at least ca. 20 mV. Sizing composition is prepared by dissolving colophony in water- immiscible organic solvent to form organic phase. Aqueous phase of cation-active colloidal coacervate disperser is prepared by mixing anionactive and cation-active components in such amounts and with creating such shearing force, which are sufficient to form cation-active colloidal coacervate.
