FIELD: electrical engineering; data transmission from control center of medium-voltage substation. SUBSTANCE: when information is transmitted from control center organized at 35/10/0.38-kV substation with cosine capacitors installed in 0.38-kV line to raise power factor, signal currents cannot be introduced in line by paralleling method as they will be shorted out by capacitors. Considering this fact, signal currents are proposed to be introduced in medium-voltage line of 10 or 35 kV. EFFECT: provision for eliminating signal current shorting-out; reduced power requirement of transmitter. 1 dwg
