FIELD: treatment of water; preparation of potable water. SUBSTANCE: proposed device consists of cylindrical housing with filtering and sorbing layers inside it; housing is provided with supply branch pipe fitted with check valve; housing has blanked off hole and unit for motion of water being cleaned through filtering and sorbing layers which is made in form of piston with rod. Piston has holes where check valves are fitted; piston is provided with ring rigidly secured to rod for turning around axis, thus closing the holes in piston. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of washing filter' possibility of using filter in open sources. 5 dwg
