FIELD: rolling, design of working rolls for stands of rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: proposed roll includes axle and deposited roll sleeve composed of alloy with summary content of chrome, wolfram, molybdenum and vanadium under 18.0%. Carbon equivalent of alloy of sleeve amounts to 0.4-8.5 %. Deposited beads of sleeve are spaced over circumference of roll barrel. Invention provides for simplified technology of manufacture of rolls and reliable removal of scale from rolled products thanks to formation of selective wear on surface of barrel of roll.
