METHOD OF DECORATIVE-ARTISTIC FINISH OF WOODEN ARTICLES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: decorative-artistic finish of wooden articles (linden species) with the help of various painting artistic varnishes, paints, encrustation with foil; applicable in manufacture of artistic articles (matreshka, various souvenir dolls). SUBSTANCE: method includes application of required ornament onto surface of wooden article blanks coated with gouache, water-colour, mordant, tempera, acrylate paint, etc., with the help of hair-pencil of required size and PVA-9 adhesive or all surface is coated to which printing foil is to be applied. Adhesive is naturally dried at room temperature up to full transmittance of its surface for 0.3-0.5 h on the average. Then, laid on surface prepared in the same manner is printing foil and tightly pressed with the help of hot eraser (with optimal size of 2.5-3.5 cm). Eraser used for the purpose shall possess required plasticity and keeps well heat after its heating for a few seconds before procedure.
