DOUBLED CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning of gas composition of rocket engineering articles. SUBSTANCE: doubled centrifugal blower has body with two inlet and outlet branch pipes, two electric motors with impellers installed in bores of body which communicate with inlet branch pipes, two-way check valve which outlet communicates with outlet branch pipe and each inlet has form of conduit communicating with each bore correspondingly. Working tool of two-way check valve is mounted in its space for movement and makes it feasible for outlet branch pipe to communicate in each extreme position with one of conduits and to isolate it from the other conduit. Space of check valve into which conduits enter is cylindrical and working tool comes in the form of rotor of bladed hydraulic prime mover of incomplete turn. Outlet branch pipe is positioned coaxially to rotor and has through conduit with inlet in side cylindrical surface of blade of rotor and with outlet in butt of rotor adjacent to outlet branch pipe. Immobile partition forming two working chambers is placed in cylindrical space of body. EFFECT: increased adaptability to manufacture and efficiency of blower. 1 cl, 4 dwg
