FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: sprinkler unit head is mounted by means of nipple and shaped nut onto water feeding pipeline of boom-type sprinkler unit or mobile sprinkler. Sprinkler head has casing, deflector fixed on column, and nozzle with central opening. Deflector is made in the form of concave bowl facing toward nozzle and provided with convex portion made in bowl mid portion. Convex portion is aligned with axis of symmetry and provided with threaded through opening. Deflector cavity is divided into sections by rigidity ribs and is equipped with undercutting on inner curved bowl surface. Undercutting is positioned between peripheral annular deflector edge and convex portion. Each section has variable section in vertical plane. Stepless motion deflector and nozzle are connected by nut. Convex portion and curved surface conjunction place are extending over conical surface. Nozzle outlet opening is defined by intersected conical inner surfaces of nozzle cavity and conical annular belt. Deflector and nozzle annular belt have equal angles of taper. Concave surface of bowl undercutting is formed by rotation of chain line. Deflector is blocked on column threaded part by butterfly screw. Sprinkler head of such construction is used in fine dispersion and drop irrigation equipment for producing adjustable size drops and for regulating irrigation intensity during sprinkler irrigation. Such head may be used for irrigation with water having characteristics which do not comply with those specified by technical conditions, for example, with water intaken from open channels and temporary irrigating ditches.
