FIELD: chemical-heat treatment of bronze articles. SUBSTANCE: proposed process of chemical-heat treatment of bronze article consists in action with two permanent magnets on treated article. In this case first magnet is laid on bottom of container, magnet is covered by asbestos piece, powdery mixture is poured on asbestos piece, articles are placed on mixture, powdery mixture is poured on articles, mixture is covered by asbestos piece, second permanent magnet is put on asbestos piece, magnet is covered by asbestos piece and melting seal is poured on asbestos piece. EFFECT: increased thickness of diffusion layer without surface flaws. 1 tbl
