FIELD: forestry, wood-working industry and furniture production. SUBSTANCE: machine has planing tool positioned at an angle to cutting plane and made integral to machine. Cutting members of planing tool are formed as disk segments of radially convex profile with wedge-shaped sharpening facing toward planing tool peripheral surface. Each cutting member has flat side surface arranged at one side of casing and in single plane with it and radially convex side surface arranged at other side of casing. Planing tool of such construction provides for planing and sawdust-free cutting of wood.
