FIELD: gas treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to porous composite moisture absorbents represented by hygroscopic inorganic substances deposited on porous support, which can be used for drying gas-air flows in a variety of industrial areas. In particular, hygroscopic lithium chloride-calcium chloride mixture is deposited onto ground silica gel bound into strong water-resistant granules by different mineral binders involving impregnation with solution containing 5-25 wt % calcium chloride and 5-25 wt % lithium chloride, support-to- impregnating solution volume ratio being 1: (0.8-1.2). EFFECT: increased dynamic water vapor capacity. 1 tbl
