FIELD: dust separation before supercharging and cooling bearing supports of gas-turbine engines with air. SUBSTANCE: proposed dust separator has housing with outer and inner spiral walls, inlet branch pipe for admitting dust-and-air mixture into housing, branch pipes for discharge of cleaned air separated dust and branch pipe for delivery of dust-and-air mixture to inlet branch pipe. Inner spiral walls has at least two layers with slots formed by butt ends of spiral walls and shifted relative to each other in radial direction; butt ends of spiral walls directed opposite dust-and-air mixture flow are located above in way of flow at lesser radial distance as compared with butt ends of walls directed in way of flow; slots in spiral walls are located at greater radial distance from respective slots in walls having lesser radial distance; they are located below in way of flow; inlet branch pipe is provide with converging slotted section across outer and inner spiral walls; flow area of dust discharge branch pipe is equal to 0.04-0.08 of flow area of dust-and-air mixture delivery branch pipe. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of dust separation in supercharging at minimum losses of pressure of air being cleaned. 6 dwg
