SUBSTANCE: pharmaceutical composition has the following components, wt.%: acyclovir as an active substance, 0.1-10.0; hydrophobic component as an accessory substance, 5.0-35.0; polyethylene oxide of molecular mass 900 Da, not less, 0.1-10.0; propylene glycol, 15.0-65.0; emulsifying agent, 0.5-15.0; and water, the balance. The novel pharmaceutical composition is prepared by the successive mixing emulsifying agent-containing hydrophobic component with polyethylene oxide an aqueous solution and acyclovir suspension in propylene glycol. The novel pharmaceutical composition is made as a soft medicinal form and it shows stability at storage and provides the high-effective penetration of acyclovir across skin barrier.
