FIELD: mining, particularly, mining of minerals by leaching. SUBSTANCE: method includes development of deposit by vertical and horizontal workings, formation of compensation space with delivery of a part of ore to surface, breaking of remaining ore reserves onto compensation space and their shrinkage, supply of leaching solution to piled ore and gathering of productive solutions. Compensation space is formed within districts with maximum ore bearing coefficient. Ore volume delivered to surface in formation of compensation space is determined by relation 12δoVo/Dк≤Vk≤Vnp(1+Кр), where Vk is ore volume delivered to surface in formation of compensation space; δo is thickness of diffusion layer in natural convection; Vo is ore volume broken onto compensation space; Dk is average size of ore lumps broken onto compensation space; Vnp is ore reserve volume with maximum ore-bearing coefficient; Kp is coefficient of ore impoverishment in breaking of ore reserves volume with maximum ore-bearing coefficient. EFFECT: reduced expenditures for ore mining, transportation and processing of barren rocks.
