FIELD: shipboard engine plants; water-jet propulsors. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine includes combustion chamber with spark plug, exhaust and intake valves, system of preparation of fuel delivery, pneumatic main with valves, receiver, gas line, hydraulic chamber located below water level with water filling sensor, hydraulic valve and nozzle apparatus in form of four nozzles fitted controllable restrictors and compression chamber with divider and suction valve. Pneumatic main is provided with pressure reducer and hydraulic chamber is communicated with cooling jacket of combustion chamber through cooling pipe line fitted with valve and hydroelectric generator together with charging device and storage battery and with compression chamber through compression pipe line. Engine is provided with electronic logic control unit receiving information from ignition key, sensor showing filling of hydraulic chamber with water, receiver pressure sensor, hydraulic chamber pressure sensor, sensor showing presence of fuel, control panel and carburetor control pedal which sets operating mode of engine and converts it into command for supply of high voltage to spark plug, command for switching-on the time delay, command for opening and closing the valves, as well as command to control programs of nozzle unit restrictors, thus ensuring required operating mode of engine.
