FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: material contains, wt %: silicon 43.5-46, nickel 3.5-5.0, beryllium 0.01-0.05, aluminum oxide 1,5-3.0, and aluminum - the balance, aluminum-to-silicon ratio being 1.0-1.18. Preparation procedure: silicon powder is added to preliminarily prepared melt containing aluminum, silicon, and nickel, into which additionally beryllium and oxygen were introduced. Material possessing homogenous fine structure, elevated process plasticity, low linear expansion coefficient, elevated size stability, and vacuum-tightness can be used as constructional material when creating command instruments in control systems of aircrafts with high performance characteristics.
