FIELD: quantum electronics; gas lasers for various industries. SUBSTANCE: laser has engine with compressor connected to inlet of combustion chamber, nozzle unit, optical cavity, diffuser, and cooling system. The latter has combustion-chamber cooling jackets and/or ducts, nozzle unit, cavity resonator, and diffuser. It is connected to device discharging engine exhaust gases into atmosphere. Passages providing communication between exhaust-gas discharging device and cooling jackets and/or ducts accommodate spray nozzles connected to water source. Outlet ducts of cooling system communicate with exhaust gas passage and the latter is connected to diffuser outlet. EFFECT: facilitated handling of gas-dynamic laser. 3 cl, 2 dwg
