SUBSTANCE: enhanced physico-mechanical indicesof wood-working and beiilding materials are attained by the fact that in the known method for manufacture of wood-working and beiilding materials, including mixing of wood particles with UREAFORMALDEHYDE resin, butadiene-styrene methacrylate latex, ammonium chloride and Aerosil, formation of the mat, cold prepressing and hot pressing, the binder contains the above components at the following relation, percent by mass: ureaformaldehyde resin - 76.4 to 93.2; ammonium chloride - 0.8 to 1.6; butadiene-styrene methacrylate latex - 4.0 to 12.0; Aerosil - 2.0 to 10.0.
