FIELD: petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to removal of aromatic hydrocarbons from hydrofined kerosene fraction. Hydrofined jet engine fuel fraction is subjected to liquid extraction by to solvents, polar and nonpolar (pentane) ones, the former being acetonitrile containing 5% water. Extract is concentrated in solvent recovery column by azeotropic rectification of extract phase with acetonitrile. EFFECT: enabled production of jet engine fuel meeting requirements concerning arene content and minimum height of sootless flame and simultaneous production of aromatic concentrate containing more than 98 wt % of aromatic hydrocarbons meeting requirements for known aromatic solvents. 1 dwg, 4 tbl, 3 ex
