FIELD: plant physiology, agriculture. SUBSTANCE: cereal crops are treated with the growth regulating agent 2-hydroxyphenoxyacetic acid as aqueous solutions with concentrations 0.001-0.1% in the phase of turbulation of plants. Treatment of plants with an aqueous solution of proposed agent in concentration 0.01% ensures to obtain the yield gain for wheat "Zimorodok" sort, barley "Radikal" sort and rice "Liman" sort 6.0; 5.8 and 9.7 centner/ha, respectively.
