FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to miniature multichamber swirl tubes for local cooling. Swirl chambers and cooled flow outlet holes are made in form of coaxial through holes in monolithic housing and monolithic manifold. Cutouts in plate form tangential inlets of swirl chambers. Plate is made integral with housing or manifold, or as independent part. Cutouts are connected to compressed gas source. Housing has common regulating member in form of shutter and at least one hole to let out hot flow. At least one hole to supply compressed gas from external source is made on manifold or on surface of housing adjoining the manifold. To provide compact design and intensify process of swirl temperature separation, when using swirl chambers of diameter 10 mm and less, swirl chambers are brought into additional chamber of housing in which cross with vibrator is installed. Flexible diaphragm is installed on shutter. Compressed gas supply inlet is made in form of ring groove enclosing swirl chambers in housing, and hot flow outlet is made in form of groove enclosing additional chamber in housing.
