FIELD: artillery ammunition. SUBSTANCE: guided artillery projectile has a body and rotary air vanes opening through the body grooves. The side edge of each vane in the open position is placed in the body groove. The bevel angle of the vane rear edge does not exceed the doubled maximum deflection angle, and the groove width is not less than the value of the h ≥ 2L•sinδm+Δ•cosδm,, where h is groove width, L is distance between the point of intersection of the vane rear edge with the body generating line and the axis of rotation of the vane, Δ is thickness of the vane rear edge, δm is maximum vane deflection angle. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of projectile guidance to the target due to the enhanced efficiency of aerodynamic control without any increase of the area of the vanes. 3 dwg
