FIELD: mobile radio communication systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be recommended for multiple-coverage trunking communication systems with centralized paging and channel assignment control, for systems handling large streams of communication requests causing queues and starvation of system. Subscribers located within reach of different base stations are connected through repeaters of these stations and those located within coverage of one base station are connected directly through communication channel without base-station repeaters. In this way load on repeaters is reduced in case of excessive loading, time required for connecting subscribers is shortened due to reducing communication request queues. So, centralized choice and assignment of working communication channels takes place in any case under control of base stations. EFFECT: reduced time for connecting mobile entities at large streams of communication requests. 10 dwg
