FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: oiling composition contains, wt %: mineral oil 75.0-79.5, alkyl phosphate 14-16, glycerol monooleate 5-6, transition metal oxide 0.5-1.0, and higher unsaturated carboxylic acid 1-2. Treatment with this composition of threads essentially improved quality of their processing in spinning, weaving, and knitting shops. Breakage rate of a variety of types of synthetic filaments upon processing, for instance upon knitting on warp-knitting machines is reduced on average by 28.0%. Thread-to-steel friction coefficient is reduced on average by 70.0% and strength of threads is increased on average by 10.0%. EFFECT: improved workability of threads. 3 cl, 4 tbl, 2 ex
