FIELD: towers for radar antennas, their manufacture and erection. SUBSTANCE: modules with supporting posts and side bracing pins are fabricated and transported to place erection site where its foundation is made in ground. Assembling is started with bolting lower module to anchor posts of foundation. Parameters of foundation are chosen so as to prevent tower deviation in excess of specified value and its turnover under the influence of wind; mentioned parameters are chosen using analytic correlation between distances from center of sail area and from center of gravity of tower and turnover point, as well as tower mass, foundation mass, and wind force. Supporting posts of each next module through height have constant moment of resistance in cross-sectional area within module lower than that of previous one; cross-sectional area moment of resistance of side rods is lower than that at side rods of same module. Each module is made for self-joining to previous one by gravity. EFFECT: reduced metal input; facilitated manufacture; simplified design; improved stability. 7 cl, 3 dwg
