FIELD: sportive equipment. SUBSTANCE: dumb-bell has replaceable loading members of different weight and shape fixed as bolt-nuts in threaded openings made in housing having interior formed as elliptical truncated cone. Handle with threaded openings in side walls is rigidly attached to housing at side adjacent to smaller base of cone. Shock-absorbing elastoplastic material shaped in conformance with forearm is positioned in housing. Such construction allows hands to be relieved from strain and center of weight to be set in any point of user's forearm. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction. 2 dwg
