FIELD: devices for softening impact at contact with surface. SUBSTANCE: device has parachute for connection with upper portion of fuselage and soft envelope of pneumatic shock absorber which has first section for securing on lower portion of fuselage, second intermediate section and third section which is used for interaction with surface during descent and unit for securing first section of envelope on lower portion of fuselage. Proposed device is provided with plate having jet in its center portion and hinged doors secured over periphery. Third section of above-mentioned envelope has hole. Plate is secured on third section of envelope in such way that interior of envelope may be filled with atmospheric air when inertial load acts on plate; inertial load arises in the course of filling the parachute. Each door is made in form of frame connected with plate by means of flexible hinges. EFFECT: enhanced safety of flight at emergency landing; reduced mass and increased speed of response. 6 cl, 4 dwg
