FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: tool has at least two bearing sections each brought in engagement with two opposite surfaces of facing plates by means of ribs to form mortise joint; it also has supporting section joined on surface being faced, and intermediate member engageable with bearing and supporting sections. Bearing section is fastened to intermediate member enclosed by supporting section so that adjustable gap is formed between intermediate member and supporting section in direction perpendicular to surface being faced; supported section is provided with means for eliminating longitudinal and transversal displacement of intermediate member during its installation. Supporting section and intermediate member have U-shaped member in section of horizontal plane; ledge of U-shaped member faces surface being treated; U-shaped section of intermediate member on open side has supporting ledges stepping aside from cheeks in opposite direction; supporting ledges are used for installing bearing members. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture; reduced assembling time; reduced cost due to using less expensive materials. 5 cl, 4 dwg
