FIELD: polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: copolymers are prepared as follows. Amorphous and/or semicrystalline hydroxyl-containing esters are first brought into exchange reaction with a polycarboxylic acid dialkyl ester in presence of interesterification catalyst to give amorphous and/or semicrystalline ester copolymers. The latter react with an aminoalcohol to give corresponding title copolymers having molecular weight within a range of 300 to 15000 and hydroxyl number from 40 to 400 mg KOH/g.
