FIELD: biotechnology and oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: biologically active nutrient medium and culture of microorganism s are injected into oil and gas formation, said nutrient medium consisting of carbohydrate and hydrocarbon constituents at ratio between 1:1 and 1:10. Hydrocarbon substrate consists of C6-C20-n-alkane fractions and microorganisms are represented by a consorcium containing strains Erwina species GSB-TB and Rhodococcus erythropolis BKPM S-1379 at ratio 1:1 to 1:10 and total initial concentrations of cells at least 105-1011 cell/ml. EFFECT: increased well productivity to 27% due to increased intraformational pressure and a change in surface tension in oil-water and oil-rock interfaces affected by microorganism metabolism products.
