FIELD: storage equipment. SUBSTANCE: stand has round independently rotating shelves 10 arranged one above another. Drive 13,14 is positioned on periphery of each shelf and adapted for cooperation with drive members 11,12 on shelf periphery for turning or rotating thereof. Shelves are divided into sections equipped with pulse generators cooperating with pulse counters for determining rotational position of each shelf. Stand provides easy rotation and turning of shelves and fast retrieval of needed article. Stand of such construction reduces the necessity for internal transportation means in industrial premises, drug stores and other kinds of stores and rooms using stands with rotary shelves, where handling operations are carried out through the employment of computerized electronic equipment.
