FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use for heating and thermal stabilization of ground in construction, agriculture and some other fields. Thermal siphon is made of tubes placed one into another with clearance which form external and internal working chambers communicating through spaces in its upper and lower parts and separators of flow of liquid heat-transfer agent. Separators of flow of liquid heat-transfer agent come in the form of cone-shaped rings anchored on walls of tubes inside working chambers. Generating lines of rings in external chamber are directed upwards from walls of tubes and generating lines of rings in internal chamber are directed downwards. EFFECT: enhanced thermal efficiency of operation of thermal siphon. 3 dwg
