FIELD: production of nonwoven fibrous filter media and manufacture of articles on their bases. SUBSTANCE: method of producing filter medium is realized from fibers of perchlorovinyl with diameter of 1-10 mcm from spinning solution containing dichloroethane, electrolytic additives and solvents from series including acetone, or methyl ethyl ketone, or ethyl acetate, or butyl acetate. Filter medium has surface density of 20-50 g/sq.m and aerodynamic resistance of 3-50 Pa at air flow velocity of 1 cm/s. Respirator of LEPESTOK type is made on basis of proposed filter medium.
